  12.        ability to inhibit gp120-CD4 interaction and human immunodeficiency
  13.        virus infection in vitro. The results show that pyridoxal 5'-phosphate
  14.        is a unique CD4 antagonist whose antiviral potency derives from the
  15.        presence of both lysine-reactive and anionic substituents.
